Happy New Year!

I hope you all have a happy and safe New Year’s Eve celebrations, either in the city with tons of people or at home with your family or wherever you may be found. May the new year be filled with more love, more peace and  more bounty than the last.

Myself, I’m having a nice evening at home with my family watching my mom’s new big screen tv (yes we’re spoiled :-). Outside it’s snowing again but we’re all cosy together inside, with our animal friends curled at our feet.

Take care everybody! and Happy New Year! 😀

    Woo hoo! Happy new year!

Over here we participated in a cool Spanish tradition, in which one eats a grape for each of the twelve chimes as the clock strikes midnight! It´s supposed to bring luck, but my little brother didn´t care for the grapes, so he only ate the first one. We joked that he´d only have one happy month next year, and he´s such a pessimist that he said it would be an improvement! Then there was chocolate.

In other words, all is well in partly-cloudy Spain!

Sounds like a good time in Spain 🙂

My friend turned 21 on Jan 1st, so at midnight, he rang in the new year with a dirty martini that was his first legal drink 🙂
